Losant service configuration#

Create a new application#

After logging in to the [Losant] website (https://www.losant.com/) create a new application with the button Add Application.

Enter the name of the application (for example * DT8C ) and confirm with the button ***Create Application**..

After creating the application, you have access to the administration panel of the Losant website.

Create a device template#

Select the tab Device recipes and click Add Device Recipe.

Choose an option Upload an exported recipe.
Download szablon_dt8c_-_monitoring_kolumny_destylatora.recipe, then drag it to the section Select or drop in *.recipe file or select the file from the location where the file was downloaded.
Confirm with the button Create Recipe.

Create a Losant device#

Go to the tab Devices and at the key Add device choose an option Create From Recipe.

Select an item DT8C from the drop-down list and click Crate from Recipe.

Losant device management panel#

After creating the device, you have access to the device management panel where you can read the Device ID identifier.

Create an authorization key#

On the Losant website, go to the tab Access Keys and click Add Access Key. When creating the key, select the option All Devices.

In the window that summarizes the creation of a new key, copy the field values one by one Access Key and Access Secret paste it to Androino controller configuration page.

Caution!

Confirm that the authorization data has been copied (I have copied my access key and secret to a safe place) after making sure that these keys have been copied.

Androino controller configuration#

Select the option in the Androino application menu Konfiguracja->Ustawienia, zakładka Serwisy, sekcja Ustawienia Losant
On the Losant website in Losant device management panel copy device ID (Copy button next to the Device ID) and paste it Device ID in Androino application.

Other fields Access Key and Access Secret fill after creating an authorization key in Losant.
Check the option Włączona obsługa Losant and save the settings.

Caution!

Enabling the service of the Losant website should take place automatically after saving the changes to the configuration. Otherwise, restart the Androino controller.
